Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Organizer

This giveaway is organized by Lena Marie Schnier, hello@studiosandbox.de, operator of the Instagram account @milesandmemories_journals (hereinafter “Organizer”).

2. Instagram disclaimer

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By participating, entrants release Instagram and Meta from any liability. All questions regarding the giveaway should be directed to the Organizer, not to Instagram.

3. Giveaway period

The giveaway starts on October 1, 2026, once the reel is online, and ends on October 7, 2026, at 12:00 noon (CEST). Entries received after the end will not be considered.

4. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a shipping address in the European Union. The Organizer is excluded from participation. Participation is free of charge and does not require any purchase.

5. How to enter

To enter, participants must:

a) follow @milesandmemories_journals on Instagram,
b) like the giveaway post, and
c) comment on the giveaway post and tag one person.

Bonus entry: Participants who share the giveaway post in their Instagram story and tag @milesandmemories_journals receive one additional entry. The story must be visible to the Organizer (a public account or visibility to @milesandmemories_journals).

Each person can receive a maximum of two entries (one entry plus one bonus entry). Additional comments do not increase the chance of winning.

6. Prize

The prize is one (1) hardcover copy of “Miles and Memories – friends bound by the road, sunset edition” by Lena Marie Schnier. Shipping costs are covered by the Organizer. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

7. Winner selection and notification

The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries after the giveaway ends and will be announced on October 8, 2026, in the Instagram story of @milesandmemories_journals. The winner will also be notified via direct message from @milesandmemories_journals.

The Organizer will only contact the winner from this account and will never ask for passwords, payment details or fees. Messages from other accounts are fake.

The winner must reply within 72 hours with their shipping address. Otherwise, a new winner will be drawn.

8. Exclusion

The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants who violate these terms, use fake accounts or bots, or manipulate the giveaway in any way.

9. Early termination

The Organizer reserves the right to end or modify the giveaway at any time if proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.

10. Data protection

Personal data (Instagram username and, for the winner, name and shipping address) will be used solely to conduct the giveaway and to send the prize, and will not be shared with third parties except for delivery purposes. The winner’s data will be deleted after the prize has been delivered. By entering, participants agree that their Instagram username may be published if they win. Participants have the right to access, correct and delete their data at any time by contacting hello@studiosandbox.de.

11. Liability

The Organizer is not liable for loss or damage of the prize during shipping, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Organizer’s decision regarding the winner is final.
